Game Overview

Insecure Inputs is a minimal, precision-focused 3D physics platformer with a unique budget-based challenge: every single input counts. Set in a glowing retro-digital grid world, players navigate a agile stickman character through complex floating obstacle courses.

The core twist is the Input Counter. Each level gives you a strict maximum limit on the total number of keystrokes or button presses allowed. If you exceed this limit, you immediately fail and are sent back to the start of the level.

Key Mechanics & Features

• Strict Input Budgeting: Players cannot simply hold down movement keys or spam jump buttons. You must carefully plan every move—using precise, minimal taps to let momentum, physics, and gravity carry you to the finish line.
• Physics & Momentum Mechanics: Success relies on maximizing each action—taking advantage of slopes, wall bounces, launch ramps, and rolling spheres to conserve movement inputs while navigating gap-filled arenas.
• Interactive Launchers & Tools: Levels feature environmental mechanics like power-metered cannons and directional pads that launch your character across massive distances without burning up your limited input budget.
• High-Stakes Precision: Over-correcting or panicking mid-air uses up vital inputs, turning every jump into a deliberate risk vs. reward calculation.
• Level Objectives & Replayability: Stages challenge players to reach checkered flag checkpoints while staying under input limits (e.g., finishing within 2/30 or 4/20 inputs). This creates a puzzle-like speedrunning feel where optimizing your path is essential.
• Vibrant Retro-Digital Visuals: The aesthetic features clean, high-contrast neon lighting, synthwave grid maps, and motion accents that keep the player focused on spatial layout and geometry.
